Jed is a co-founder of Candor Custom Homes. From an early age, Jed showed signs of interest in the construction/creation of structures. Pulling architecture books off of his grandfather's library shelves, before he could read, he would look through the pages in amazement at the geometric angles displayed. At an early age of 8 years old, his grandfather was very upset with him for using his 2x4’s to build a “house”. Out of high school, Jed took his first contruction job at the age of 19 years old. In his first six months, he was exposed to almost every aspect of construction. Jed knew at that time that this was his true passion and he would work hard to obtain the skills to be a good carpenter. Jed then took a job for a very well known finish carpenter. His mentor was known for his quality and efficiency and Jed quickly obtained the skills to be a trim carpenter. In 2001, at the young age of 23, he started his own finish carpentry business which still exists to this day. His company, Stoller Woodworking provides quality interior finishing to a select number of customers in the Bloomington/Normal area. Jed loves to wake up every morning and do what he loves most - designing and manufacturing unique, one of a kind, architectural details. Jed is the main project manager for Candor Custom Homes. He enjoys his time in the field. Being able to watch the process of the home being built and transformed and getting to be able to be an active part of it. This is what drives him to count his journey to learn and maintain the desire to be better evert day. He genuinely cares about the quality oof the construction and devotes his full attention to every project he works on. He likes to be challenged and loves to solve problems with an ability to think outside the box. He is always grateful for the opportunities he is given and does not like to disappoint.
